applesauce: flattery, nonsense, i.e.. "Aw, applesauce!"
bank’s closed.: saying no to affection/kissing

doll: an attractive woman.
get in a lather: get worked up, angry
heebie-jeebies: "the shakes," named after a hit song
jeepers creepers: substitute for goodness gracious or "Jesus Christ"
lollygagger: an idle person
mind your potatoes: mind your own business.

Oh, fun! Studying this topic will be the bees knees!
:)
But laura, don't get too much in a lather!!!
Who comes up with these sayings anyway?
Mind your potatoes, Samuel!
(Just kidding, this is fun!) :D
Laura, stop razzing me!
Why if I had a clam for every time you said that....
And How!
Then I could just say it and be rich!!!
Well that's just the bee's knees, now isn't it!?
(I'm running out of words here!)
Well at least I'm not a dewdropper!
This is getting hard!!!
Sam, I no this may be hard for you to hear, but: I'm a....GIRL!
I'd say your a dewdropper!
I never said YOU were a dewdropper
Just that I am NOT a dewdropper
And yes, I do know that you are a girl.
I am not quite as misleading as my personality might suggest! (???)
Well, I'm sorry I razzed (razzled?) you all up, but Jeepers Creepers I'm afraid I have to say goodbye!
:D
Well I guess I just have to ankle away too now!
