The main thing history can teach us is that human actions have consequences and that certain choices, once made, cannot be undone. As to the second video...amazing how simple life's pleasures were!!! I mean our society is so high developed now that it's funny yet interesting to look back and see how people entertained themselves and how they loved the simple life pleasures of just enjoying other people's company and not spending a ton of money on personal enjoyment. Going out formal dancing and wearing nice, formal clothes is so much different from now. The women wore dresses, men wore suits. Now we have so many weird fashion trends and people wear what they want... although there were fashion trends back then too!!! I just find it amazing that society used to be so formal and had strong society roles with men and women. Very different from today. And again, to entertain ourselves we spend so much money and are always rushing...can't we just stop to smell the roses???
